- The order of play can be changed before an end starts as many times as wished during the game.
- 3 games played over 5 or 6 ends (depending on numbers).
- Shot difference to be used if needed to decide the winner.
Rules of play
The Mat shall be placed at least 1 Yard from the ditch and string.
The Mat may be as far up the green as desired so long as a 21 Yard cast can be made, retaining the 1 yard from string and ditch rule.
When cast, the Jack shall rest at least 1 yard from a string or ditch. Minimum length of Jack to be 21 yards. 2 casts of the Jack are allowed, then the opposition has 2 casts.
During play if a Bowl touches a string or goes in the ditch it becomes dead and is removed.
During play if the Jack touches a string or goes in the ditch the end will be counted but NO score will be taken. If Bowls or Jack are disturbed during play they may be repositioned by agreement or the end shall be replayed from the same end.
