Dick Moody Competition - Update

A massive thank you to all those involved in making this such a successful day, especially the kitchen and bar staff that waited on the players.

Well done too to the home team players for winning the shield.

Dick Moody Competition Saturday July 26

On Saturday we host this Competition in honour of a former Member of our Club who passed well

before his time. Dick was responsible for carrying out a lot of improvements to the facilities at the

Club in the 1980’s and 90’s and Captained our CDL team for many years.

A Representative Castle Camps Team made up primarily of Officers and Committee Members of our

Club challenge representative teams from the 3 leagues that we play in to win the trophy.

All 3 formats of the game are played over a total of 24 ends and the players are served a meal at the

end of the afternoon. Sue and a team of helpers are organising the catering, Eric is organising the

Bar. There will be preparatory work to be carried out by the Maintenance Team in the run up, any

volunteers to help either with that preparation please let Peter know. We will also require a few

helpful hands on the day to assist Eric, Car Park duty, selling raffle tickets and general clear up.

It looks like the good weather will return so some of you may like to come along, support the team

and enjoy the event.
