Details

Absent Friends event will be held on Wednesday 15th July alongside the Club BBQ.
The event will be played in the format using tokens which means that participants will be playing in any position within different teams, may have a 'lousy' game and potentially still win the competition.
  • We use tokens which are identified with the rink, the team and the position of the player i.e lead, second and skip.
  • The games can be Fours, Triples or Doubles depending on the numbers of members attending the event.
  • The tokens are drawn from a hat by each player and each player carries a scorecard.
  • The player records his team's score writing down the points for and points against.
  • The winner is the person with the highest net score having subtracted the points against from the points for.
